Securance Cares: Hurricane Irma Relief Efforts

When Irma made landfall in Florida in the early hours September 10th, it was a Category 4 hurricane that caused massive destruction in the Keys and left many with nothing but memories of their former lives. Irma continued up the eastern coast of Florida, flooding coastal cities, wiping out homes, and leaving 6.8 million residents without power — in some areas, for nearly a week. Before Irma was finished, at least 34 Floridians had lost their lives.

In times of great need, Florida has always pulled together to restore and rebuild the lives of its citizens. This is a strong community, which Securance is proud to be a part of. We are committed to helping Floridians across the state get back on their feet, and, from now until the end of 2017, we will donate five percent of company profits to disaster relief.
