We will continue to assess how we can work best with you during this rapidly evolving situation, so you can focus on what matters most — caring for your family’s health and safety.

Here is some important information we can share with you today.

Securance, like our current and future clients, is adhering to the recommendations from the CDC regarding working from home and social distancing. However, just like you, we recognize the importance of continuing to perform cybersecurity, risk, and compliance assessments.

We are currently performing assessments entirely off-premise. The following are some of the methods we have changed and technologies we are utilizing to perform off-premise assessments:

  • » In lieu of in-person interviews, we are holding videoconferences with IT staff and stakeholders.
  • » In lieu of on-premise testing, we are connecting to our current and future clients’ networks utilizing SSL or IPSec Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections, creating a secure tunnel between Securance and our clients’ networks.
    In support of this, we may request a workstation be available on our client’s network so that we can install various tools to perform the assessment.
  • » Where we need to obtain screen-prints, we are utilizing screen-sharing technologies such as Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, WebEx and | or Zoom.
